THE PLOT: MatriMovie lives up to its name… we turn your wedding experience into an exciting time capsule you will want to revisit over and over again. A typical MatriMovie shoot takes place over two days. Rehearsal It is important to have MatriMovie at the rehearsal for three reasons. First, the videographer needs to see what’s happening during the course of the service to better plan the shots. Second, MatriMovie must meet with the minister/JP to ensure setup locations and angles are acceptable so as not to interfere with the ceremony or church policy. Finally, we can capture plenty of casual footage at the rehearsal, showing the wedding party and close family in a relaxed and fun atmosphere before the madness of the big day. Post-rehearsal dinner/party Based on request. Extra footage of wedding eve. Wedding Day Documentary The big day begins. Half of the fun of the wedding day involves the preparation time spent by the bride and groom. MatriMovie will travel between both wedding parties, randomly capturing the hustle and the bustle, and all the special moments that time may have eventually forgotten. The video is ultimately edited as a documentary of this amazing preparation time, and for many MatriMovie clients, is the highlight of the entire video. The music selected matches the pacing of the day, and often turns out exciting, funny, or moving. Sometimes all three within a matter of minutes!! Ceremony The centerpiece of the entire production. MatriMovie arrives on location with plenty of time to spare. We’ll get the guests arriving, perhaps sneak a couple of candid moments before the ceremony, and get set for the most important hour of your life. A second camera is available on request, for an additional fee, to capture another angle of the proceedings as well as crowd cutaways. The camera will linger at the church after the ceremony, to catch a few shots of mingling, and some family photo-ops. The Photo Shoot Upon request, we can bring the video camera to the wedding photo shoot. Remember: you have us for the FULL DAY!! Reception From the introduction of the head table to the first dance, MatriMovie will have the entire reception covered. The clips of speeches and reception program are edited together seamlessly, so there’s no downtime or sudden stops. Bonus Features In addition to the fantastic coverage of the “wedding weekend”, MatriMovie throws in further enhancements to your package. Examples of past bonuses are impromptu, candid interviews with family and wedding guests, video coverage of the “photo shoot”, photo montage, reception slide show presentation, extra footage of the city or town the wedding takes place, and so on. We will pounce on any opportunity we can to make your video more enjoyable. |
